Here’s what President Obama said to his supporters last night in regards to the health reform package making its way through Congress. It is time for us to pass a bill. Whether we get everything we want or not, there is no longer time to delay on this critical issue. On the upside, Nancy Pelosi has made it clear that she intends to produce a House bill with the most robust public option on the table, and in the Senate, Harry Reid has begun to make statements that indicate the public option might be put into the bill during the Finance committee’s reconciliation. This would then require 60 votes to strip out the public option, which is virtually impossible. What seemed like a sinking ship in August should be pulling into harbor by November.:
